Las Vegas just experienced a tragic community emergency.  Join us as Mary Camin explains how CERT team members are trained and how they help our community.

About Our Speaker

Mary Camin, CERT Program Specialist/Southern Nevada CERT Program Manager

Mary began working as the City of Las Vegas CERT Program Specialist and Southern Nevada CERT Program Manager in April 2016. Prior to coming to Las Vegas, Mary worked in emergency management for the Riverside County, California Office of Emergency Services. During her time with Riverside County, Mary worked on the CERT program; the Water and Dam Emergency Response plan; Citizen Corps recruitment and training; and the Access and Functional Needs Shelter Assessment project. Mary is a Certified Emergency Manager in the State of California and holds the Associate Emergency Manager (AEM) credential from the International Association of Emergency Managers. Mary also holds a master's degree in public administration from the University of Southern California, as well as a master's degree in political science from the Catholic University of America.
